moonlatch

Nobody tells you it might be this hard.

Dreading the next feed. Wondering if they’re getting enough. Wondering what's normal.

Everyone says it’s natural. It doesn’t always feel that way.

The support is here, and ranked by the research behind it.

We’ll show you tips in order of what is most supported by the research, so you’re not guessing between a dozen tips from the internet. The fuller the moon, the more likely it is to help.

Log a Feed

At 3am, you won’t remember which side. Moonlatch will.

Log a feed in two taps. Note how you and your baby are doing. Turn on a Guided Feed when you want a gentle feed-by time.

Guided Feeds

A little guidance for the next feed.

Guided Feeds are feeding templates built by an IBCLC, with cue-reading and waking support while your baby works back to birth weight.

Preview an example schedule in Feeding Guides, then turn on a template when you want a gentle feed-by time. You can turn Smart Summary Tips on or off there, too.

Guided Feeds is free for beta testers.

Watch for early cues. Offer a feed sooner when your baby is ready.

An optional reminder, not a reason to wait. Follow your baby’s medical team’s feeding plan.

A few details make Moonlatch yours.

Choose what you’d like support with, add your child’s name or nickname and optional birth date, and choose your units. You can change them anytime in Settings.

Create a free account in the app to save your username, back up your logs, and join Feeding Together. Already have an account? Sign in—your feeds and settings come back with you.

You can continue without an account. Your child’s details, logs and units stay on this phone; your username isn’t saved, your logs don’t back up or sync to another phone, and you can’t join Feeding Together. Your child’s name, exact birth date and private logs are never shown to other parents.

Who made this

Built by a pediatric SLP, IBCLC, and mom of three.

After years in pediatric acute care, and three babies of my own, Moonlatch is the support I wanted on those long nights: honest about what works, kind about what’s hard.
